This notice describes how Nyuchi Africa (Pvt) Ltd, a company registered in Zimbabwe, collects, uses, and protects personal information across its products and surfaces. Nyuchi Africa is the commercial pillar of the Bundu ecosystem and operates its platforms under a service agreement with the Bundu Foundation. This notice is drafted to satisfy POPIA (South Africa), the Zimbabwe Data Protection Act, and the EU GDPR.

Products this notice covers

"Products" means the Nyuchi Africa services you sign up for or use, including:

  • Nyuchi API Platform (platform.nyuchi.com) — API keys, rate limiting, billing, and the developer portal for our identity, payments, messaging, geo, and AI primitives.
  • Nyuchi Web Services — full-stack engineering and platform delivery.
  • Nyuchi Tools (tools.nyuchi.com) — the Workspace Tools and email-signature suite, the Nyuchi Studio card generator, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, SEO Manager, Mailsense, and Social Proof.
  • Nyuchi Weather Stations (weatherstations.nyuchi.com) — the StationKit fleet console for solar weather and soil sensors.
  • Nyuchi Logistics — vehicle rental, delivery, charter, and ride-hailing operations (beta).
  • Nyuchi Pay — payment gateway and financial substrate (in development).
  • Nyuchi Masasa — Linux device fleet management (in development).
  • Nyuchi Learning (learning.nyuchi.com) and the Lingo, Development, and Foundation divisions.

Where a Nyuchi product is the enterprise counterpart of a Mukoko consumer surface, data handling for the consumer surface is governed by the Mukoko privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the products you use:

  • Account information — name, email, organisation, and authentication credentials you provide when you sign up.
  • Content you store — the data, files, and configuration you choose to put into a product.
  • Usage and reliability telemetry — logs, device and browser data, approximate location, and IP address, collected so we can secure and operate the services.
  • Billing information — for paid tiers, the details needed to process payment (handled by our payment providers).
  • Marketing-site data — for nyuchi.com itself, the analytics, error-monitoring, newsletter, and support-chat data described under "Service providers" below.

How we use it

To operate the products, secure them, provide support, bill for paid tiers, and improve them. Our lawful bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent (for the newsletter and non-essential cookies), our legitimate interest in running secure and reliable services, and compliance with law. We do not sell personal data, do not run an advertising network, and do not resell user attention.

Service providers

We share data with a limited set of processors who act on our instructions:

  • Vercel — hosting, content delivery, and web analytics for our marketing site.
  • Cloudflare — hosting for Nyuchi Tools (Workers and Images) and Turnstile anti-spam on our forms.
  • WorkOS / AuthKit — authentication and the login gate for Nyuchi Tools.
  • Google (Workspace & Gmail API, Analytics, Fonts, Search Console) — the email-signature Console operates on the nyuchi.com Workspace domain; Google Analytics provides aggregate marketing analytics; Google Fonts serves web fonts.
  • Sentry — error and performance monitoring.
  • Sanity — the content management system behind our blog and press pages.
  • Intercom — the in-page support chat.
  • Formspree — newsletter and pilot sign-up form handling.
  • GitHub — where in-product issue reports are filed.

Data residency and retention

Customer data is held on regional infrastructure aligned with the customer's jurisdiction of residence. Sovereign deployment options are available on the Enterprise tier. We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it. When you close an account you can export your data and we delete it on the schedule set out in your plan.

Your rights

You have rights of access, correction, portability, deletion, and objection, and the right to withdraw consent. Emailprivacy@nyuchi.com with the subject line "Subject access" and we will respond within the timelines set by the applicable jurisdiction.
