Why can't my pass open doors?
Door access uses a contactless credential that only your school can issue, through Apple's official program. No third-party app can clone it into Wallet. CampusPass carries your card's barcode and your ID, which is what dining, library and printing readers scan.
Which iPhones does it work on?
iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Reading your card's NFC chip needs an iPhone 7 or newer. CampusPass is iPhone only.
What about my photo?
Your photo and your card details stay on your iPhone. CampusPass has no servers to send them to.
Is my ID uploaded anywhere?
No. The app makes no network requests at all; it contains no networking code. The pass is built and signed on your phone.
Does it cost anything?
The beta is free. Pricing for the App Store release has not been announced.
